Looking to get the GIST post - Trying to Get Gist.com Accounts for My Social Media Class
I have heard great things about Gist (www.gist.com) and I want to get my class of 30 graduating Emerson College seniors using gist for their Google sponsored projects, which will be well documented at the end of the semester. I signed up for Gist (my user email is david_gerzof@emerson.edu for any gisters out there scanning the Internet) and I got an email back about a week later saying if I post on Gist on my blog then I might get the gist faster. I don’t usual do this, but seeing that it’s almost mid-term I’d like to get the gist before it’s too late. One note on this marketing technique that we will discuss in class - although I’m posting on Gist now, no one in my class has any idea what gist is and since I can’t get gist without this post, which means I currently don’t have gist, I’m in no real position to post on gist if its good, bad or great - get the gist? So this leaves the door open for any gist competitors - if you have a similar product - please send it to me and I’ll have my entire class evaluate it and along with gist (if they ever see this) - BTW that translates to 30 soon-to-be marketers posting on your gist-like service and buzzing about it once they hatch into the real world.
